Dear Pastor and Church,

Once again I want to thank you for your faithfulness in giving for God's work.  You are such a blessing to our ministry here in Kenya.

Kenya is undergoing thru great internal problems because of the bloody conflicts that has resulted in the deaths of thousands in the last few months.  Murderous mobs burned down churches, destroyed homes, and left many lives in unspeakable conditions.  Things are looking better in recent days, and we attribute this to the many of the brethren who have answered our call for intercession.  Through your help we have assisted many of our country men with food, clothing, but most of all we have taken the opportunity to preach the Gospel to them

Because of the said conflicts the Bible Institute in Nairobi and Eldoret were affected that we discontinued the sessions for fear of the lives of the students.  The ones in Busia and Nyamira were spared, thank God.  Our orphanage was also spared from the ensuing commotions.  We are sad to report however that we have to refuse some children because of shortness of funds.  Yet despite all of this, we strive to serve with what we have, at the same time we are always in fear that anytime this orphanage might be attacked.  Please pray that the Lord would cover the ministry with protection.

Our ministry in Tanzania is also growing and we hope to be there soon as problems in Kenya settle down.  We were in DRC Congo in the month of December 2007 along with a team from USA who came along with Bro. T.J. Tilley.  God did a tremendous work done during that time.  For one week we taught and preached the Word of God to them.

All of these things were accomplished through your giving to missions: souls being saved, people have been called to the ministry, feeding the orphans, teaching student preachers, and starting new churches.  Please continue for peace in Kenya so that the Word of God would have free course.

    To God be the glory!!!

Your Servant for the Gospel,

Bro. Seabury and Sis Winnie Nyabero
