May 2008

Dear Praying Friends,

There is a certain joy about seeing your children do well, as we read in III John 4.  For the next few months, we thought we'd report on our children's opportunities.  This month we'll begin with Nathan (17) and Evan (14).

Nathan is growing in the knowledge and wisdom of men.  He is learning how to drive the car.  He works at a local grocery store and is finding his hours increasing by the week.  The store frequently asks Nathan to come in on a day off or stay late when they need help.  He clearly has learned work ethic!

Nate wants to finish his home schooling in Africa and then go to Northland to study History Education.  Nate takes his college ACTs in June.

Evan is in that stage of life where he is learning the ways of adulthood.  He can watch his brother and sister in selected situations.  We have given Evan a responsibility of setting up our display for our meetings.

Evan doesn't mind spending his money on others.  There are times when he has offered to pay for a family meal with his personal money.

This month Nathan and Evan will begin working at Camp Joy for three months as Operations Staff.  We believe and pray this time away from home will be good for both boys and prepare them for the future.

Empowered by your prayers,

The Moore Family
