Dear Pastor and Praying Friends,
We are sending greetings to all our praying friends in America and Canada, from Alsdorf Germany. We like to thank you very much for your financial and prayer support. You all have been a great encouragement to us especially during difficult times. We thank the Lord for strength and perseverance.
The last month has not been easy for us due to illness. I thank the Lord for taking care of us.
We thank the Lord for a good report from the church in Alsdorf. Alexander a young man from Russia has made a professing of Jesus Christ. He has been attending faithfully our church meetings for the last year. We also had several visitors in church lately. One of them is Christel a 50 year old woman. She has been coming to our services on a regularly basis. Please pray with us that she might get saved very soon.
Jonas the oldest son of Thomas has finished high school with excellent qualification for the University. He will study languages and communications. He would like to apply his knowledge later on the mission field. He likes to translate the Bible into the native languages. Jonas went on a mission trip to the Senegal with New Tribes Mission twice a month, we are out on the market place with out Christian book table. This has been very well accepted by people in Alsdorf. We trust we will see many people getting saved.
In September Inge and I will be in the States for a month we will see some friends and attend several mission conferences. Please pray for protecting during this time and that we get home safely. Please pray with us that the church in Alsdorf may grow.
